Every asset, one permanent QR label — printed straight from the app
The moment you create an asset, Monkey Assets mints its QR tag. Print it on a Brother QL die-cut roll or a plain A4 sheet, stick it on, and anyone can scan it with a phone camera to pull up that machine's full history.
A permanent tag, minted the moment you create the asset
Create an asset and its QR tag is minted on the spot — and that tag never changes. Print it once and it keeps resolving to the right asset for years.
Minted on save Every asset gets its own QR tag the moment you save it — nothing extra to generate or assign.
Immutable for good The tag never changes, so a label printed today still resolves years from now.
The host outlives the domain The sticker points at a permanent address that keeps working even if the product moves domains — the labels are stickers, the host lives forever.
No spreadsheet, no software Tags live in your register, not in a separate labelling app or a column in a spreadsheet.
Print on the hardware you've already got
Print real labels straight from the app — on a Brother QL label printer, or on plain paper you already have. No export, no third-party stock software.
Brother QL die-cut rolls Print one clean label per asset on a QL-570, 700, 800 or 820, across DK-1201, DK-1208, DK-11209 and DK-2205 rolls.
Plain A4 sheets No label printer? Print a cut-out sheet on any office printer and trim the labels to size.
One click per asset Open an asset, hit print, and pick your roll — small, medium or continuous — or the A4 sheet.
Another printer? Just ask On a label printer we don't list yet, tell us the model and we'll add it — we supply and set them up too.
Scan with any phone camera to see the whole story
The tag isn't a dumb sticker. Scanning it opens the live asset and its whole trail — no spreadsheet to dig through, no app to install for a quick look.
Any camera opens it Point a phone camera at the tag and it opens the asset in your browser — nothing to install.
The full history A signed-in team member sees specs, owner, site and every movement — who did what, and when.
Ready in the field The record is one scan away on the floor, in the van or in the storeroom.
Locked to your org Only people in your organisation can open the asset behind a tag — the boundary is enforced on every scan.
No separate label software to buy or learn
There's no standalone label designer to license and no CSV to babysit. Tags, specs and printing all live in one register — and paid plans never charge per user.
Nothing extra to install Printing is built in — no separate label program, no export step, no per-seat charge.
One source of truth Printing reads straight from the register, so a label always matches the live asset.

Common questions
Which Brother label printers does it work with?
Any Brother QL-series printer that takes the DK roll family — the QL-570, 700, 800 and 820. It prints DK-1201, DK-1208, DK-11209 and DK-2205 rolls, and the QL-800's black-and-red roll prints our labels in black. On a different printer, tell us the model and we'll add it.
Do I need a special label printer at all?
No. If you don't have one, print a cut-out A4 sheet on any office printer and trim the labels to size. When you're ready for die-cut rolls, we'll supply and set up a Brother QL for you if you'd rather not fiddle with drivers.
What happens to a printed label if the product changes domain?
It keeps working. The QR points at a permanent address that resolves for years — the labels are stickers, and the host lives on. A tag printed today still pulls up the right asset well into the future.
Do people need an app to scan a tag?
No app for a quick scan — any phone camera opens the tag. To see the asset's full record, specs, owner, site and movement history, a teammate signs in, and only people in your organisation can open it.
Is there separate label software to buy or install?
No. Printing is built into Monkey Assets — there's no standalone label designer, no export to a spreadsheet, and no per-seat charge. Create an asset, hit print, choose your roll or A4 sheet, done.
